Android Tablet Market Share Dips Below 50% in Q2 2022

  • For the first time in 10 years, Android tablet market share fell below 50 per cent as people seek premium and detachable tablets from Apple, Windows OEMs and, to some extent, Samsung
  • Samsung led the Android market with a 13 per cent YoY decline in Q2 2022 to 7.1 million units. Lenovo returned to the third ranking globally in Q2 2022, though shipments fell by 25 per cent year-on-year to 3.5 million units.
